Hi, I'm Chris — the person behind Grill & Griddle. I've spent years cooking on Pit Boss pellet grills and Blackstone flat-top griddles, and I built this site because I got tired of reading reviews written by people who'd clearly never fired up a grill in their life.

I started with a Pit Boss 700 and immediately fell in love with the set-it-and-forget-it convenience of pellet grilling. Low-and-slow briskets, competition-style ribs, whole chickens — I've put hundreds of cooks on that thing. Eventually I added a Blackstone 36-inch griddle to the arsenal, and it completely changed my weekend breakfast and smash burger game.

Everything on this site comes from actual hands-on experience. The recipes I post are ones I've cooked multiple times, tweaked until I got them right, and fed to real people (who gave me real feedback). The reviews reflect hours of actual use — not a 10-minute unboxing video.
